Your understanding is wrong. When you purchase an industrial building that is in poor condition, you must bring it up to code before you can get it insured. I was doing all the repairs myself, starting with the roof that had major problems. We couldn't go thru a bank since the building needed so much work.

My name is Greg and last Jan. my wife and I spent our life savings to purchase an industrial building, in Toledo Ohio, to start our own business. Durring remodeling it caught fire and was a total loss. I now have 4.23 acers of rubble that must be removed. The city has me in housing court, so I cant sell it, and since we didn't have any insurance on the building, we cant afford the disposal costs. So I am asking for people like you to please send ONE dollar to remove one brick. As we are currently over $150,000.00 in debt over this matter, I am hopping to sell as many bricks as I can.
